In the next few days, the Sevier Amateur Radio Club will be an official organization. Since May of this year, 6-8 Operators (Organizational Committee) have worked diligently to establish a Constitution, ByLaws a Ratification process and now, a Federal ID number that will enable us to open a checking account and begin collecting dues and donations. All Club correspondence, donation and/or dues can be sent to this address until further notice.
We will initially ask for dues or donation of $5 and will need to be paid by October 31st to be eligible for the member voting process in November.

As such, we need to start the Nominating Process for 2017 Club Officers. The positions will be President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. These officers will also select a Net Coordinator from our membership. We will welcome nominations for that position also.
We need nominations to be emailed to me, KE7ZIW, Steve Fehlhaber to my firstname.lastname@example.org email address. I can also receive your email via the Yahoo Groups web site.
If you are interested in “running” for any of these newly created positions, please email me if you are nominating yourself or if you would like to nominate someone else, please get their approval before doing so.
Eligibility of initial Elected Officials –
The eligibility of future elected officials is defined in
the Club Constitution however, as a new organization, these requirements cannot
apply. Therefore, our first Officers
eligibility will require a documented minimum of 12 “check-ins” per year for
the previous 12 month period
Voting will take place in November via the internet and all “Members” who are current with dues or donations will be eligible to vote. This Internet process will be explained as it is installed and completed.
